INTRODUCTION

By decision of the European Coordinating Committee of Solidarity with the Sahrawian People, the 34th European Conference of Coordination and Support to the Sahrawian People (EUCOCO), will take place this year at the city of Valencia (Spain), the 7th, 8th and 9th of November.

This annual meeting, the most important one held at an international level in solidarity with the Sahrawian People, will be an excellent platform to highlight the present situation and the political agenda of the Western Sahara conflict and claim once again the unchallengeable right of the Sahrawian People to self-determination.

Throughout these three days, Valencia will become a referent for the international solidarity movement, and hundreds of individuals, social organizations, institutions and NGO's, coming from the five continents will make an effort in putting their experiences and initiatives together in favour of the Sahrawian People.

The Conference in Valencia should sum up the work done during the last year, since the previous conference held in Rome (Italy), and define with clarity the objectives and the strategies for those rights of justice and freedom to make their own way out, and the Sahrawian People to freely decide their own destiny.

From the Conference organizer Comittee, with the city of Valencia and its institutions, we encourage all the individuals and bodies compromised with the Sahrawian struggle to participate in this important event.
